Welcome to Programme & Pen. We specialise in the provision of bid and proposal support to public and third sector organisations, as well as private businesses both small and large. This includes the writing of bids and the management of the bid process itself. We also provide copywriting services to a broad range of clients.

Jake Lewis-Smith is our principal bid consultant and managing director. Jake has worked with NHS trusts and third sector organisations since 2010, and has a strong track record of delivering winning bids. This is underpinned by his attention to detail, and the ability to quickly understand the core offers of organisations he works with, translating highly technical language into accessible win themes. Jake has experience in helping mobilise and implement new services in both Norfolk and Suffolk. He now also delivers capacity-building training to organisations that want to improve their bid-readiness.

Based in Norwich, Jake is the father of two bundles of chaos, so he loves bringing order and structure to his working life and to his clients’ bid processes.
